A Vibrant Atmosphere

In the summer, the area buzzes with activity, hosting lively music sessions outdoors. The winter months, however, invite everyone into the warm and inviting interior of the café, creating a cosy retreat from the chilly weather.

Joey's Adventure

For Joey, the true highlight is the outdoor setting with ducks, goats, and chickens. His eagerness to befriend all animals takes precedence over long walks, which suits him perfectly as he recovers. During our visit in mid-January, we chose to settle inside and savour a comforting coffee and cake.

Delicious Vegetarian Treats

Let me assure you, the cakes here are exquisite. The menu, while modest, is executed to wonderfully and is entirely vegetarian. Although Joey might have preferred a meaty treat, his charm worked wonders. With his endearing 'neglected face,' he won over the owner, who kindly prepared him two vegetarian sausages. To Joey's delight, they were devoured within minutes.

A Friendly Community

After receiving obligatory fusses from friendly strangers, we wandered back to the chickens and explored the surrounding field. Fox in the Stables not only offers a delightful culinary experience but also fosters a welcoming community spirit, making it an ideal destination for both humans and their four-legged companions.
